Perfectly Imperfect
“Nobody is perfect, and it is only by accepting each other's flaws and experiences that we can create a more complete relationship."
Mokume Gane
In Japanese kanji, "Mokume-gane" refers to an alloy with wood grain patterns. This traditional technique, which was once on the verge of being lost, involves the cleaning and layering of multiple metal plates, followed by high-temperature fusion.
Mokume-gane is very challenging and impossible to be replicate.
The Mokume Gane's wood-grain pattern merging with gold, sterling silver, copper and sliver alloy, soldering it together as a pair, like the inseparable and unique parts of each other. Each pair has a random wood-grain pattern, truly one-of-a-kind.
Carve, twist, and forge the metal to create jewellery with unique textures. What is truly captivating is the intricate process that allows different metals to blend together, each showcasing its own colours and patterns.
