高中的時候因為考試壓力原故，喜歡了飼養熱帶魚，當時我每個星期都會花兩三天在金魚街留連，從一開始研究不同魚、水草的屬性，到後來發現自己對飼養熱帶魚所用的器材產生極大的興趣，熱帶魚的氣味，熱帶水草的氣味，什至器材本身都有不同的氣味 。那幾年遊走於熱帶魚的人工世界裡，彷彿可以抽身於現實世界中的所有事，活在一個自己創造的世界裡，器材冰冷幾何透明的外表又令我對這個自己創造的世界產生距離感，繁多的器材種類及功能性的結構與自然複雜的水族生物產生對比，好像越多的器材就代表我越了解這個自己創造的世界，每次整理水草，整理器材都會令我心裡感到安靜。

I started my interest in fostering fish. At that time, I spent 2-3 days a week at Goldfish Street (Tung Choi Street) and got more research on the nature of different fish and water plants. In the end, I found myself addicted to the equipment for fish tanks. The scent of tropical fish, water plants and the equipment impressed me a lot. 

Wandering the artificial world of the tropical fish, I felt like getting away from the reality and experiencing a self-created world. The detached fish tank in another way also creates a sense of distance to it. The enormously various types and functionality of equipment generate contradictions to the complicated aquarium in between. It seems like the more equipment installed, the more I understood this created aqua world. Every time when I reorganize the water plants and equipment, I felt mentally peaceful and cured.
