In the midst of this rapid and tumultuous era of modern love, where time waits for no one, impatient hearts on the platform of love tolerate no delay. It is easy for them to board the next train, embarking on a new romantic journey.
Years ago, they inscribed a pair of lover's bracelets, engraving their names as a symbol of everlasting closeness. For four years, he believed they would walk down the aisle together. However, she, with her repeated infidelity, chose a different path.
Persuading him into an "open relationship" they ventured, he discovered their paths diverged, their love fractured. The pain he felt was like a knife piercing his heart, a stark reminder of the depth of his emotions.
His ex had always praised his articulate and expressive writings, yet failed to grasp their true essence. It was only after their separation he realised the truth – that both creation and love require depth, not just a superficial understanding.
It was through her that his writing style underwent a transformative evolution, and so does his perspective on love.
"For every path leaves behind a trace," he mused, regardless of what transpired, the embrace of the past still lingers. Memories, like the engraved name on the bracelet, serve as a reminder of a time of enchanting nostalgia, exquisitely carved into the fabric of their shared history.

People often find themselves alone in this modern world. The designer, inspired by the owner's story, realised that some love relationships may become hard to distinguish between reality and fantasy over time.
By extracting the recurring pattern on the owner's original bracelet, the designer carefully selected and cut out specific fragments. Using computer graphics, a hollow ring was designed based on the pattern, removing the coloured parts. The fragments of the bracelet were then securely fixed in their new positions using the diamond inlay technique, relying on the tension of the metal.
The combination of the virtual and the real symbolises that the four years of emotions have now turned into a small part of life. Even though the romance of the past may have faded, the message is to embrace one's unique self and welcome a new beginning.
